Sculpture
 
This striking Grasshopper sculpture is mounted on an vintage tin. This magician grasshopper has been sculpted from spun cotton (Victorian method). His wings are made from pieces of plastic I have recycled by melting together.
All of my sculptures are boxed. I try to use eco-friendly supplies as much as possible for packaging.
 
 
Care: Every piece is sealed with two layers of varnish and is well protected but would recommend to display away from any water or dampness.
Due to the nature of the vintage embellishment they may tarnish over time, I personally think this adds to the charm.
These are for indoor decorative purposes only and not suitable as a toy.
